From the moment your dog comes through my door he/she is treated like family. My shop is like home.
Upon entering you will notice that everything is in view, from the table to the tub.
The dogs are permitted to free roam of the shop unlike most groom shops where they are kept in a kennel.
Kennels are available for those who need or want it.
Every dog is treated with love and respect. No two dogs are alike, therefore, they are handled individually by accomodating their individual personality. I also find it more comfortable & less stressful for the dog to have little breaks here and there during their grooming session. A relaxed dog makes for a happy dog!
I limit my appointments to no more than 3 dogs per day. In this manner I have the time to spend with each dog. No rush in rush out here.

* I DO NOT and WILL NOT attempt to brush out a dog that is matted. It is very painful and traumitizing for the dog and his or her skin. Matted dogs, depending on severity, may require to be shaved very short. Most mats on ears and tails can be thinned instead of shaved but determination on what is best for your dog will be made on a case by case basis.
**There is no extra charge for needing to use a specialty shampoo (ie: flea & tick shampoo) ALL shampoos available are inclusive in the price!
*** I DO NOT use cage dryers. All dogs are blown dry by hand with a dryer designed for animals.

Grooming has become a passion
all because of this little guy!
The image to the left (before) is Dakota the day his owners voluntarily surrendered him to me. He was 2 1/2 years old. He was neglected, abused, under weight and I soon found out he had been beaten. 5 hours into removing all his hair, saving the detail of his face for last, he bit me. I tried everything imaginable but he just wouldn't let me detail his face. I took him to All Care and Dr. Z kindly put him under so I could clean up his face. It was then we discovered he had been beaten so hard the left side of his jaw had been broken and had already healed! This little guy was so traumatized is was heartbreaking. I knew then this was going to be a challenge, but I never waivered.
Within a week of taking custody of him he wouldn't let me out of his site. No one could touch him, especially a male. But me? All I could do was love him. He slept with me, he went to the bathroom with me, he groomed with me. He was glued to me. It took about 3 months and alot of love to teach him that all my family and friends wanted to do was love him. By then, re-homing was out of the question We were attached!
The image to the right (after) was taken 4 months later. The beating caused some nerve damage causing his tongue to hang out of his mouth. He could eat and drink and had put on the few pounds he needed.
Dakota is now 9. Happy, healthy (minus his skin issues) and the ruler of the house! He still sleeps with me but is not as glued to my feet. He does watch my every move
He has learned to trust that he is safe here
and that he is loved!
